๐Ÿ”ฎ How to Participate

Participating in Hacktoberfest with Devtron is as easy as 1-2-3-4:

1. Explore Our Projects: We have a range of exciting open-source projects. Take a look at our GitHub repositories, find a project that resonates with you, and check out the existing issues.

2. Pick Your Challenge: Once you've found a project and issue you'd like to tackle, it's time to get coding! Submit your pull request and start contributing. Raise a new issue if you donโ€™t see an existing issue on the feature you want to work on. Remember, it's not about the quantity of contributions but the quality.

3. Love for Writing: Any tech authors in the house? We love blogs, especially when the blogs are short and crisp. In this month-long Blogathon, we invite all the bloggers to share their experiences on all things Cloud-native, Devtron and Kubernetes.
We have also opened a special use case section in our documentation for you all to contribute. Please refer this for participation guidelines.

4. Earn Rewards: The best part? For every valid merged pull request, you'll earn some cool swag and exclusive Hacktoberfest stickers. Top 10 Blogs will receive exclusive limited edition devtron swag. Fill this Contributor form after your submissions.
But that's not all! You'll also be building valuable experience and connections within the open-source community.

Note: Swags will be shipped to only India region this year, rest eligible entries from other parts of the world will be receiving an equivalent amount of Gift Card.

๐Ÿ“ Guidelines

  • We are only accepting code contributions, blogs and use-cases in documentation this year as part of Hacktoberfest.
  • Spammy pull/merge requests will be labeled as spam.
  • Submitting low-quality pull/merge requests should be avoided
